the love of family makes a life beautiful

Ah! I absolutely LOVE Extended Family sessions- it so important to make the time to get together and document the family together.  Our lives can get so hectic, especially as the kids get older, it’s hard to make space for quality time spent together- in fact, I have to “schedule” family days or days off– otherwise they won’t happen!  This particular family session is extra special because it was organized by my super talented photographer friend, Sara.  I always get some butterflies before a photo session, but when you’re shooting someone amazing it’s amplified!  Not only did I get to capture her with husband Joe and boys Joey and Leo, this time I got portraits of her with her parents and sisters and brother.  I had the best time hanging with this crew and I’m honored I was chosen to capture them all together.  To Matthew, Clara, Mandy, Matthew, Amanda, Zach, Sara, Joe + beautiful kiddos Joey, Leo, and Theo- THANK YOU!  You guys were awesome, and Clara- you made my day with that delicious biscotti! xoxo
