do the earth a favor, don’t hide your magic

Folks, I’m so excited to share photos of the beautiful Allmond family– Lauren, Brandon and their daughter, Frances.  This beautiful Mama was one of my very first friends in the photography world.  She has been so kind to me and she’s grown into much more than a photography pal — I absolutely love being in her presence — she is kind, hilarious, bright, thoughtful, positive, caring and an outstanding Mother, wife and friend.   She is one of those people that is a joy to be around and an overall a light in my life.  I’m so grateful for our friendship.  And as much as I love her, I’m going to keep it real- I was dreading photographing her and her family!  Lauren is one of the most amazing photographers in the industry (if you don’t know, now yah know -> click here ).  Not only was I taking photos of her with her favorite people, but she also prefers a more documentary approach than I generally do.  However, going through these images, I cannot count how many times I caught myself smiling and giggling at the screen– it was so refreshing to purely capture moments– and BOY there were a lot — mostly cause Fran is the bomb and soooooo funny and sweet and talks and laughs with such animation– I think it’s safe to say we captured a good chunk of her amazing faces.  Most importantly, I was able to get photos of Lauren IN the frame with Brandon and Fran.  I actually had a blast taking a more documentary approach and just hanging with her family. We laughed a ton, dug for worms, explored their beautiful town, and ended with Fran’s favorite — a water ice flight from Rita’s.  Allmond family- thank you, thank you, thank you!  The pleasure was ALL mine.  You guys are the best! xo
